just remembering one of the most lovely days in lucknow... they say khushi kumari gupta and arnav singh raizada met there on a warm june evening. a tale of khushi and arnav and that feeling one never found a name for. who would want to forget it... who could ever.

Lucknow...

The show starts on the day of her sister Payal's wedding. On the last minute, Payal's fiance Abhishek and his mother demand for dowry, much to the shock of the Guptas, as they are a lower-middle-class family. In order to complain regarding this and to end the alnce, Khushi goes to the Sheesh Mahal to meet Abhishek but is mistaken for a model as they are having a fashion show there. She falls off the ramp when Arnav Singh Raizada(Barun Sobti) catches her. Arnav is an arrogant, obnoxious and unkind business tycoon who owns AR, the design company which was having a fashion show at the Sheesh Mahal. Arnav, thinking she is a model sent by a rival to ruin his show, lock her up in a room and interrogate her, even though she begs him to let her go. Because Khushi was late, Payal's wedding get

cancelled.

After their first encounter they meet again at a religious place, where they have an argument.

Khushi, Payal and Madhumati are forced to move to Delhi, because of Arnav, as he had humiliated Khushi publicly in Lucknow's news channels in order to take revenge for her ruining his fashion show.

There Khushi gets a job in Delhi to support her family, and meets Shyam, who starts living with Khushi's family as a paying guest.Fate dealt yet another hand in intertwining the destinies of Arnav and Khushi by bringing the latter as an employee to Arnav's company AR. Later Khushi discovers that her boss is Arnav himself, much to her shock. After an initial fight, they sign a deal which states that Khushi will do every task Arnav hands her, otherwise she'll have to pay 1 lakh to him. 

Rabba Ve Moments....

Arnav finds himself attracted towards Khushi. Confused by his emotions and Khushi's determination.

Arnav sends her to a dilapidated building for her next task. However, Khushi ends up getting trapped within the ruins of the building and Arnav rescues her.

     After being ill-treated by Arnav several times, dire circumstances force Khushi to quit her job..

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is a star-crossed love story presenting an interesting contrast of personalities entwined in a relationship swinging between love & hate. Khushi and Arnav have diametrically opposite ideologies. If Khushi believes in means, Arnav believes only in ends. Khushi's relationships are the most important to her, whereas Arnav believes all people come with a price and can be manipulated for one's benefit. Khushi, an 18 year old from UP, is simple, rooted in family and is driven by a clear moral compass. She stands for what she believes in, and never lets go of her inculcated values. She will not change herself to conform to people's shallow expectations. In stark contrast, Arnav is a 28 year old self made, ruthless, 'win at all costs' man who believes everything can be bought in the world, including love. He has no consideration for relationships and no qualms for using & manipulating people as pawns to achieve his ambitions. As the story progresses, their love-hate relationship witnesses a series of dramatic conflicts. While Arnav constantly tries to break Khushi's steadfast morals just in order to prove to himself that he can control everyone; Khushi on the other hand, tries to always follow her values & morals.
